Who we are
Airy is a family mental load app operated by Keith Gibson (“we,” “us,” or “our”). You can reach us at klmcgibshome@gmail.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Airy at use-airy.com, how we use it, and your choices.
What we collect
Account information
Your name, email address, and password when you create a family account.
Family content
Responsibilities, chores, appointments, meal plans, and notes that you enter into the app. This is your data — we store it so the app works.
Kids’ information
First names, ages, and theme preferences for children you add to your family account. Kids do not create their own accounts — parents control all child data. We do not collect more personal information about children than is necessary to operate the app.
Photos
Photos that kids upload to verify completed chores, stored securely and accessible only to your family.
Payment information
Billing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive a customer ID and subscription status from Stripe.
Push notification tokens
If you enable push notifications, we store a browser subscription token to deliver notifications to your device.
Usage analytics
We use Vercel Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics to understand general usage patterns (pages visited, session counts). These tools do not build personal profiles.
How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Airy service
- To send email summaries you opt into (morning or evening)
- To send push notifications you enable
- To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
- To respond to support requests
- To improve the app based on aggregate usage patterns
We do not sell your data. We do not use your family content to train AI models.
Third-party services we use
Children’s privacy
Airy is designed for parents managing their household. Children use the app on a shared family device via a PIN — they do not have their own accounts or email addresses on file. All child data is entered and controlled by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at klmcgibshome@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
Data retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your family’s data within 30 days. Stripe may retain billing records per their own retention policies.
Your choices
- You can turn off email summaries at any time in your dashboard preferences.
- You can disable push notifications in your browser or device settings.
- You can delete your account by contacting us — we will remove all family data within 30 days.
Security
Your data is stored in Supabase with row-level security policies that ensure each family can only access their own data. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth and never stored in plain text. Payment data is tokenized by Stripe. No security measure is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect your family’s information.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify active users by email. Continued use of Airy after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
